Present Govt. has not signed any defence procurement contrary to Indian Govt. who is 99% busy in war planning and weapons procurement. Just heard Pakistan security minister, Rehman Malak speaking to British media and disclosing that Pakistan’s most wanted terrorist and the leader of the Tehreke Taliban Pakistan otherwise known as TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan), has been killed in a US Drone missile attack along with his wife and several guards.
The Minister further clarified that so far no documented evidence has surfaced but the intelligence reports were quite conclusive.
If confirmed, Mehsud’s demise would be a major boost to Pakistani and US efforts to eradicate the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
Mehsud is believed responsible for dozens of suicide attacks, beheading and target killings in Pakistan. He is allied with Al-Qaeda and has been suspected in the killing of the former Pakistani prime minister, Benazir Bhutto.
